Entry to the BLCGA senior section is to anyone over 55 on 1st January 2008, who is a member of the Bedfordshire Ladies County Golf Association and costs just £1, payable to your club's County Delegate.

There are matches throughout the year and a senior championship. Current holder is Klava Allen from South Beds.

Seniors Championship: Champion Klava Allen from South Beds is unfortunately not available to defend her title at Aspley Guise on 28th July. Championship this year has attracted a huge field of hopefuls including several past champions and a lot of home players. Click here for the draw

7th April 2008: Seniors versus 2nd Team
The annual match versus the County 2nd team almost didn't happen, as the 2 teams arrived at Dunstable Downs to find the course covered in snow and closed. However, a bit of sunshine and charm from the captains came to the rescue and the match was able to be played, albeit on temporary greens. Lunch and dinner were swapped round just in case, but the foursomes and the singles were played in full. For the first time this year, the seniors were given full handicap difference, but it wasn't enough as the 2nd Team eventually triumphed 7 1/2 to 4 1/2. Thanks to all those who played.
