On Sunday 13th April the County Junior Girls assembled at Caddington Golf Club to contest the Past Captains' Salver.   The weather ranged from sunshine to thunder and lightning right through to a hail storm just after the 1 p.m. start!  However, despite the conditions everyone completed the competition and Megan Birdsey, playing on her home course, took the trophy with 34 stableford points.  The next best score was 31 points achieved by 3 of the competitors.  On count back second place went to Molly Thorne from the Bedfordshire with Bethany Healey from the Bedford taking the 3rd sport over Emily Midgley from John O'Gaunt.  For Bethany Healey this was her first county event and only her second ever 18 holes.  Vanessa Jay from Leighton Buzzard also joined in a county event for the first time.
