B.L.C.G.A. JUNIOR SECTION 2006
INTER COUNTY CHALLENGE SHIELD
The 2006 Inter Counties Challenge Shield was held at Bedfordshire Golf Club on Thursday 24th August.
Twenty nine girls from Beds, Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambs/Hunts took part. There was a medal competition for girls with handicaps up to 28 and a 13hole stableford competition for girls with handicaps 29 to 36.
There is also a team event.
Heather Mutton from Leighton Buzzard won the Eva Harris Salver for the best gross score with a gross 76. Lizi Sweetnam also from Leighton Buzzard won the Silver Division with a nett 69 and Rebecca Shortall from South Beds won the Bronze Division with a nett 68.
