B.L.C.G.A. NEWS AND RESULTS 2006
2nd TEAM

The finals day for the County 2nd teams, when all four counties came together to play their last matches. was held at John O Gaunt on 22nd August in perfect weather - no rain, no wind, no thunder, no lightening - just right.
 

The Bedfordshire 2nd team were against Norfolk, who were starting favourites, as they had won both their previous matches against Suffolk and Cambs & Hunts.    

However -We won the foursomes in the morning 3/1 and at lunch Norfolk were in deep team talk and discussion.!!   In the afternoon, we won 3 matches, halved 2 - An overall win for Bedfordshire 7 to 5.
 
The overall result for the year was Norfolk and Cambs & Hunts won 2 matches and Bedfordshire 1 - so on games won it was a victory for Norfolk with 21 1/2 games, Cambs & Hunts 18, Bedfordshire 17 and Suffolk
